Medical Image and Algorithms Assesment

Medical imaging is very useful in clinical in clinical context. It is usually well known as radiology or simply called as clinical imaging. The professional who works by interpreting the images shown from the radiology is called radiologist.

Meanwhile, the diagnostics of the radiography designates the acquisition of medical images and in general it also points out the technical aspects of medical imaging. So, who is the one that responsible for acquiring medical images?

It is the radiographer who is responsible to acquire the medical images of diagnostic quality. In general, radiology evaluates anatomy. Meanwhile another approach which is called as nuclear medicine gives functional assessment.

Depending on the context, medical imaging can be the sub-discipline of several possibilities. It can be the sub discipline of medical physics, medicine, or for biomedical engineering. Besides for scientific investigation, the research from medical imaging is also useful for industrial applications.
